Slava’s journey in the healthcare industry began in 2009 when he founded doctorawork.com, Russia’s leading digital healthcare platform. Recognizing the immense potential of technology to transform the healthcare sector, Slava’s platform quickly became a market leader, offering patients convenient access to medical services and resources online.

In 2017, Slava further solidified his status as a trailblazer in digital healthcare by establishing the Digital Healthcare Club of Russia and the National Telemedicine Association of Russia. These initiatives aimed to promote collaboration and innovation in the healthcare technology space, paving the way for advancements in telemedicine and remote healthcare services.

Slava’s relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation has not gone unnoticed. In 2020, he was honored with the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in the healthcare category, recognizing his outstanding achievements and contributions to the industry.

Moreover, Slava’s commitment to leveraging technology for the greater good was further highlighted by his receipt of a state award, the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree medal, by a presidential decree for his exceptional contribution to the fight against the coronavirus infection. This recognition underscored Slava’s dedication to using his expertise and resources to address pressing healthcare challenges and improve public health outcomes.

Driven by a desire to expand his impact and address healthcare disparities on a global scale, Slava set his sights on Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy and most populous nation.
