GTAP: Empowering Aspiring Growth Hackers
Launched in March 2022, GTAP is designed to bridge the talent gap in Africa’s booming tech startup ecosystem. The program equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as growth hackers – a specialized marketing role focused on rapid user acquisition and business growth.
Measurable Success and Identified Needs
Since its pilot program, GTAP has yielded promising results. Bili Sule, Founder and Chief Growth Officer of alGROWithm, highlights two key needs identified through the initial run:
- High Demand for Growth Talent: Companies are actively seeking skilled growth hackers, evidenced by the rapid employment of past GTAP graduates.
- Upskilling Existing Teams: Many businesses prefer to upskill their current workforce rather than hire entirely new talent.

- Program Expansion: The additional funding allows alGROWithm to extend GTAP beyond its initial focus on Nigeria and Ghana. The program is now open to applicants from Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and South Africa. This expansion broadens alGROWithm’s impact and caters to the growing demand for growth hacking expertise across the continent.
